January 2004 to Present
This was the part where things started to become tangible, as I began to build the web site. It was decided that this site should be built with Flash so that the user could have a more interactive experience. Flash gives the builder a greater ability to control the way things look and behave, to create a whole new space for the user to experience. Also, because most of the user base will be using newer technology and fast internet connections, the added weight of using a Flash document instead of straight HTML wasn't a concern. However, to keep load times faster, it was split into a series of smaller Flash documents which were linked together to create a seamless experience, rather than having one large document which contained the entire site.
The design itself was kept very minimalist and clean, to reflect the client's style of work. The details lie in the way the page behaves, the fonts used, and the alignment of all the elements. Everything works together to create an experience that make people want to hire Bryan Moore and No Shoes Speedworks.
